It collects electricity and gas bills, fuel card exports, waste dockets and supplier figures from across a business, checks them, and calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with the Australian Government's National Greenhouse Accounts Factors, using the edition that matches each activity's date. Every figure links to its source document, every correction is logged, and every total shows how complete it is. Emitt prepares the metrics and evidence behind AASB S2 climate disclosures and NGER reports. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Australia, is backed by Microsoft for Startups, and is onboarding businesses in beta.
