Cookie notice
What our website and app store in your browser, and why. We use no advertising cookies. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Draft under review. It describes how we work today and may be reworded before it's final.
Our website
On emitt.com.au we use PostHog for analytics: which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. PostHog stores a random identifier in a first-party cookie and your browser's local storage, so repeat visits count once. It isn't used for advertising, and we don't build profiles of anonymous visitors.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |

Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address but sets no cookies.
The Emitt app
The app at app.emitt.com.au sets no analytics or advertising cookies. It keeps:
- your Microsoft sign-in session in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab;
- display preferences, such as dark mode, and the email address you last signed in with, in your browser's local storage.
When you sign in, Microsoft's sign-in pages set their own cookies, under Microsoft's privacy statement.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking them on our website doesn't stop it working; blocking storage in the app may sign you out. Questions go to [email protected], and our privacy policy has more on how we handle personal information.
