Data in a dozen places
Electricity bills sit in one inbox, fuel card exports in another, and supplier figures arrive as spreadsheets in every format. Each site does it differently.
Energy bills, meter reads, fuel cards, waste dockets and supplier spreadsheets, spread across every site and inbox. Emitt collects them, checks them, and turns them into Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions you can trace back to the source.

CSV & Excel Email forwarding Energy retailers, fuel cards and accounting systems. Anything else can come in as a spreadsheet or a forwarded email.
Most businesses build their emissions by hand, once a year, from whatever they can find. It takes weeks, and the result is hard to trust.
Electricity bills sit in one inbox, fuel card exports in another, and supplier figures arrive as spreadsheets in every format. Each site does it differently.
Someone copies figures into a master spreadsheet, chases suppliers by email and looks up factors. Next year, they start again.
When a client, auditor or lender asks where a figure came from, nobody can say which bill, which factor, or who changed it.
Every bill, export and supplier form is collected in one place, checked, priced with the right factor and linked back to its source. The number you report is one you can show your working for.
Every activity lands against a site or project, gets priced with the right factor for its date, and adds up into a total you can defend.
Diesel from fuel cards and bulk deliveries, gas bills, LPG, petrol and refrigerant top-ups. Everything burnt or leaked on your sites.
Bills and interval data from your retailer, priced against the state grid each meter draws from. A kilowatt-hour in Victoria and one in Tasmania are not the same number.
Send subcontractors and suppliers a short form. Their fuel, power and waste figures come back with evidence attached and land in your ledger.
Example factors from the National Greenhouse Accounts Factors 2026. Emitt applies the edition that matches each activity's date.
Every total opens up into the activities behind it, and every activity opens up into the file, the factor and every edit ever made to it.
The home screen shows the organisation's total, each project's share of it, and how complete the data behind every figure is.
Upload a spreadsheet, forward a bill or connect a fuel card. Each row becomes an activity you can open, check and correct.
Every report is built from the same records you see on screen, so the numbers in the board pack, the tender and the client request all agree.
Track the frameworks your clients and regulators care about. Emitt shows how much of each one your data already covers, and what's still missing.
The assistant answers in plain English from your organisation's own records: sites, uploads, monthly figures and what's still missing. Every answer lists its sources and links to the screen that holds them.
Most of your Scope 3 sits with subcontractors, waste contractors and suppliers. Emitt asks them for it in plain language, follows up, and files what comes back.
Every figure in Emitt shows its working: what was used, the factor applied, and the edition of the National Greenhouse Accounts it came from. Move the slider and see.
Factors are from the Australian National Greenhouse Accounts Factors 2026 (the 2026–27 reporting year). Electricity uses the location-based method. Emitt applies the edition that matches each activity's date.
Energy use, sites and suppliers are commercial data. We run Emitt to the standard your IT and procurement teams expect, and we're working towards SOC 2.
Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure's Australia East region, with backups kept in Australia.
TLS for everything in transit, and encryption at rest for every database and stored file.
Every query is scoped to your organisation, and automated tests check that one customer can never see another's data.
Sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, using your own MFA and passkeys. Admin and member roles control who can change what.
Corrections are recorded in an audit log with who made them and when, so a figure's history is never lost.
Every file is stored before anything reads it, so the source behind a number is always there to show an auditor.

Mid-sized Australian businesses with physical operations: construction companies, manufacturers, transport operators, miners, farms and food producers. If you run more than one site, project or vehicle and someone is asking for your emissions, Emitt is built for you.
You send your subcontractors and suppliers a short form for the project and period you need. They enter their fuel, electricity or waste figures and attach invoices, without creating an account. Answers are priced with NGA factors and land in your ledger alongside your own Scope 1 and 2 data. Waste to landfill can also come straight from your waste contractor's reports.
Yes. You decide how your business is structured, whether that's projects, sites, depots, plants, regions or business units. Every activity is attached to one of them, and totals roll up from there to the whole company.
From the National Greenhouse Accounts Factors published by the Australian Government each year. Emitt applies the edition that matches each activity's date, prices electricity against the state grid it came from, and shows the factor on every figure. Factors are never adjusted by hand.
Yes. Emitt tracks your readiness for AASB S2 with a Year 1 checklist and produces the metrics extract with the evidence behind each figure. Your governance, strategy and risk narrative stays with you and your advisers.
Yes. The Emitt assistant answers in plain English from your organisation's own records: which sites you report on, what's been uploaded, what was recorded in a month and which months are incomplete. Every answer lists the records it came from and links to the screen that holds them. It reads only, quotes figures exactly as they're recorded, and leaves totals to your reports. The assistant is optional and switched on per organisation. It runs on Claude, so your questions and the records used to answer them are processed by Anthropic outside Australia. We don't use your data to train AI models.
Your data is hosted in Australia on Microsoft Azure, encrypted in transit and at rest, and separated from every other customer's. You sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, every change is logged, and we're working towards SOC 2. Our security page has the detail, and we're happy to answer your security questionnaire.
Soon. Emitt is coming as an Azure Managed Application, deployed into your own Azure subscription so your data stays inside your tenant and under your security policies while we manage updates. Today, Emitt Cloud is hosted by us on Microsoft Azure in Australia. Emitt is also coming to Microsoft Marketplace.
Last financial year's electricity bills, fuel card exports and gas bills are enough to begin. We set up your projects and sites with you on the first call, and you'll see your first numbers the same day.
Sustainability reporting and software engineering, brought together to build the tool we wished we'd had for every reporting cycle.
Emitt started on infrastructure and construction projects, where we ran emissions and sustainability reporting for years. Every cycle looked the same: bills chased by email, figures copied into a master spreadsheet, factors looked up by hand, and no good answer when an auditor or client asked where a number came from.
So we built the platform we needed. A data pipeline, a calculation engine and an audit trail, so every number traces back to its source and every change is recorded. Today Emitt serves Australian businesses with real sites, plant and projects, and the people who have to report on them.
Emitt is a recipient of Microsoft's startup support program, and runs on Microsoft Azure.
We're onboarding a small number of businesses in the beta. Leave your work email and we'll set you up with your own data.
