Industries

Emissions reporting for businesses that run on fuel and power.

Emitt is built for mid-sized Australian businesses with sites, projects, plant and fleets. Each industry page says who is asking for your emissions, where they come from, how the data reaches Emitt, and what Emitt doesn't calculate.

Pick the industry closest to yours.

Every page starts from the same ledger and says plainly where it stops.

Construction

Emissions by project for tenders and client reports, with subcontractors reporting their own.

Manufacturing

Each plant's electricity, gas and refrigerants in one ledger, ready for buyer questionnaires.

Property, civil works, warehousing and utilities

Emitt suits these too: any business whose emissions come mostly from electricity, fuel, gas, refrigerants and waste at its sites. They have no page of their own yet, because the ledger works the same way.

The same ledger, whatever the industry.

Every record belongs to a site, project, plant or depot in a tree you set up, and totals roll up to the company. Each one is priced with the edition of the Australian National Greenhouse Accounts (NGA) Factors that matches its date, and links back to the file it came from.

A row with a problem stays visible with its reason, and every total says how many records it includes and leaves out. Corrections are logged and totals recalculate straight away.

  • Scope 2. Electricity, location-based, priced against the state grid it was drawn from.
  • Scope 1. Natural gas, diesel, petrol and LPG, plus refrigerants and SF₆.
  • Scope 3. Waste to landfill from contractor dockets, and the emissions suppliers and subcontractors report through a link.
  • Not calculated anywhere. Travel, spend-based estimates, livestock, fertiliser, land use, process emissions and on-site solar generation.

We're onboarding a small number of Australian businesses in the beta. Bring last year's bills and fuel card exports, and we'll set you up with your own data on the first call.
